The coat of the German Rex is similar to
that of the Cornish Rex but differs in
that its awn hairs are slightly thicker than those of the undercoat.
This
results in a fuller, woollier look.
The German Rex cat appears to have diminished
as breed unlike the Cornish Rex cat that has gone from strength to strength
in its popularity.
