Meet The
Cat Place Management Team.
Hi! We are all "Kiwi" cats
who live just outside of Auckland in New Zealand. We all
come from deprived and stray backgrounds prior to finding and taking
up lodgings with our dad. We have the run of the house, fields to
play in and food on tap. We don't know our parentage or breeding,
but in dads eyes, we are all thoroughbreds and
spoilt accordingly.
Since dads
heart attack and strokes we felt we should contribute a little
more to the household affairs. So, have agreed to
allow our photos to be published and to devote a little time each
day to this - The Cat Place site. Dad says that with luck, if visitors click on and
visit some of the advertisements on this site then we might make a
little extra money for those little luxuries that all of us cats
need.

Fluffy - Chairman of the The Cat Place Board:
Fluffy is
four years of age. Born under the zodiac sign of "Leo" he
adores admiration and has that Leo charisma to attract just about
everyone he meets. He's not a details chappy but more the socializer
who charms folk into his desires and objectives, especially when it
comes to food time and entertaining. His charming attractive
qualities makes him the perfect candidate as chairman. |

Monty - The Cat Place President & Chief Executive:
Born under
sign "Aries" Monty is the fast moving, active, go-getter.
Although small in size he was, when younger, like "Napoleon
Bonaparte" a proud and forceful cat that ruled a large area by
sheer force of arms. Currently aged 16 he still retains his good
looks and as per the Vet is in exceptional physical condition. He
looks after his dad and sleeps on his pillow every night. |

Loopy - The Cat Place Technical Trouble Shooter:
Born under
sign "Aquarius" Loopy age 9 has a natural interest in
things unusual thus technical matters and problems are well suited
his nature. He is of course a great thinker and may require days of
mental (sleeping) contemplation before awakening to some form of
action. He has a charming personality and a strong interest in
music. His deep throated "purring" has been known to charm
almost everyone within earshot. |

Little
Masters Bimbo & Bonnie - The Cat Place Office Juniors:
Bimbo &
Bonnie are brothers from the same litter and born around 20 December
time making them a couple of little zodiac sign Capricorns. Dad
found them behind some shops. Their mum had died and they
themselves, according to the vet, had little hope of surviving.
However, with plenty of TLC these tough little fellows made it and
have joined the team as office juniors principally responsible for
office "Pot Plant" care. As can be seen, they are showing
signs of responsibility and take their job very seriously. |

Caddie - The Cat Place Vice President Artistic Matters:
Born under
sign "Pisces" Caddie, age 9 is the artistic thinker. She
loves and appreciates luxury in every way. An affectionate cat, a
dreamer and one who enjoys the beauty of flowers. Unlike most cats
she is non violent and has never seemed to hurt another creature. |

Bo Bo - The Cat Place General Manager:
Born under
sign Capricorn Bo Bo age 10 has the natural instincts to take
responsibility, organize and persevere to get things done and
finalized. He is always calm, thinks things out in his own time and
acts accordingly by directing the staff under him. |

Odd-Eyed
Kittens Pinky & Perky - Latest Additions to Our Family
Two snow white little balls of
fluff. each has a blue eye and brown eye, little pink noses, pink
ears and pink toes. Both love singing for about half an hour before
falling asleep only to wake up about 2 am in the morning to enjoy a
noisy game of chasing plastic clothes pegs up and down the hall.
Both love the telephone and when it rings will push off the head
piece to listen to the caller. You can visit their own little site

| Well,
now that you know who we are we can tell you that The Cat Place is our first
web site. We cannot of course actually work the computer so we
gather around it and tell dad what we want done.
Our mum recently died. She adopted numerous cats throughout
her life time and horded a large collection of cat pictures. In
tribute to mum we have included many of those pictures on our site
plus others from the net. If we have infringed anybodies picture
rights then we indeed apologize. Please let us know and we will
remove them or, add a credit or link if preferred.
First, we thought that we would
like to know more about all the different types of cats around the
world. So, we have compiled that information and set up a list of all
the Cat Types and Breeds that we can find (see left hand column
